The RedLeif Story

Why We Launched

At our core, we are builders who love to explore new frontiers, never content with simply continuing on with the way things are being done. We believe that a persistent curiosity that creates a healthy friction with the status quo is the lifeblood of innovation and growth. As we thought about what we wanted to build, we continued experiencing the need for a customer-obsessed organization with the mission of accelerating the adoption of technology solutions that secure and modernize the digital frontier. We decided to do something about it. We decided to build a digital agency that is different than the rest.

Welcome to RedLeif.

What’s In The Name?

Few cultures in all of civilization were as exploring and inventive as the Vikings. From discovering new lands to inventing longships, the sun compass, iron production innovations, and developing farming efficiencies, the Vikings certainly made a lasting impact on humanity. Erik the Red and his son, Leif Erikson, are two of the more famous Viking explorers. Erik the Red is known for his discovery and settlement of Greenland while Leif Erikson is credited with being one of the first explorers to ever set foot in North America. These accomplishments would not have been possible without a conviction to explore the unknown, a spirit of persistent innovation, and the courage to continue on through storms and adversity.

Our name is a mash-up inspired by the legacy of family,
courage, exploration, and relentless pursuit of the mission

What’s With The Buffalo?

Nothing represents the enduring spirit of Western expansion across the American frontier and the Rocky Mountains, an era marked by the pursuit of new horizons, more than the buffalo. Many of us learned in grade school about the usefulness of the buffalo and the ways Native Americans were able to derive value from the entire animal. What you might not have learned is that the buffalo is the only animal known to walk directly into a snowstorm. Many animals are forced to confront the storms but only one takes the challenge head-on.

We chose the buffalo because successfully navigating the challenges across today’s digital frontier requires a steadfast fearlessness.
